Remylin Tablet: Each film coated tablet contains Mecobalamin INN 0.5 mg
Biochemically, Remylin (Mecobalamin) is a vitamin B12 containing coenzyme with an active methyl base. Mecobalamin accelerates the metabolic pathways of nucleic acids, proteins and lipids through its involvement in the transmethylation reaction. Remylin acts to repair damaged nerve tissue in nerve disorders such as axonal degeneration, demyelination.
Remylin (Mecobalamin) is indicated for the treatment of following cases- Peripheral neuropathy, Diabetic neuropathy, Drug induced neuropathy, Vertebral syndrome, Nerve compression disease, Multiple sclerosis, Lumbag, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Diabetic retinopathy
Adult dose: 1 tablet 3 times daily or as advised by the physician. The dose should be adjusted according to the age of patient and severity of symptoms.
Hypersensitivity to any of the components of the product.
Use in pregnancy : Absorption of Nystatin from gastrointestinal tract is negligible, therefore no special precaution is needed during pregnancy.
Remylin (Mecobalamin) is generally well tolerated . However, anorexia, nausea or diarrhea may infrequently occur.
It is not recommended during pregnancy & Lactation.
